Last week my awesome parents took me on my first trip to the zoo. We soaked up a little sun, got blown around a bit (very windy), and saw a few pretty cool animals!

This hat drives me nuts, but they strap it on so I can't get it off....GRRR!!!

Take a good look at this one! Mommy and daddy said they had never been this close to the giraffes before...it was pretty cool! My hand was not really quite as close as it looks in this picture, but we were pretty close to him. People were feeding him around us and mommy even got licked on the back, ha!!
My friend Malik and I were checking out the meerkats, they are pretty cute little animals that were smaller than us, not many animals were :)
I even got to ride on a lions back!
(ok.. well it was a lion, just not a real one!)
There you have it, the hightlights of a fun day at the Wichita ZOO! I can't wait to go visit the Omaha Zoo, Daddy says it's way more fun :-)
